This isn’t a bad thing, but it can be problematic when you try to focus on one specific task. This is where the Hook-STOP strategy can come in useful. By slowing down your breath and engaging in a simple mindfulness exercise, you can bring your mind to a calm state. The STOP acronym can be used to remember how to do this.
